Footvolley was created in Brazil in the 50’s and it is expanding through all the continents around the world including Asia and Oceania. Footvolley was introduced in Australia in 2006 by a group of enthusiasts of the sport at the Gold Coast Beaches. One of the most active groups playing Footvolley in Australia is located on the Gold Coast alternating weekends between Surfers Paradise, Broadbeach, Pizzey Park and Parklands.
Brisbane was the first city to organise a sponsored competition in 2009. You also can find Footvolley in Sydney at Bondi, Tamarama and Mainly Beaches. The following partners are volunteers providing regular training sessions to the community. If you are interested in learning how to play or helping to promote the sport in Australia, please contact one of our Footvolley Mighty officers via mobile (0401803704), email (firstname.lastname@example.org) or visit us on the Gold Coast.
