What has been developed so far?
The creative activities we provide have shown to be an effective approach for working with CALD families worldwide. It shares a sense of connection to art, community cohesion, mindfulness, self-confidence and multicultural awareness.
Technology plays an important role nowadays in the way relationships start and develop. Children often get attracted by the interactivity of handheld devices. The fantasy of games and robots are another factor that can stimulate children to spend long hours online. We are developing activities to increase the quality of the time spent by children in front of the devices.
Coding activities and introduction to robotics have been delivered in schools and social programs to support education as well as to stimulate creativity. We aim to integrate the creative power of our young members combining skillsets that will be the bedrock for their future success in the digital economy.
Those skill combined will allow children to grow up more confident about using computers and aware of its true potentials. We want to share the community spirit, providing meaningful educational experiences while applying the soft-skills developed through teamwork.
Children are going to learn about how to navigate in the digital world, exploring their creativity and intellectual potential while learning how to balance time spent playing with gadgets and keeping their mental health through avoiding long hours seated.
How can I help?
We need your support to fund our i-Creative program allowing our young community members to develop problem-solving skills, as well as multicultural awareness, to change the world towards a more sustainable place to live. We invite you to be part of this project by sharing your ideas and supporting our cause with donations at GiveNow. We are a registered charity with the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission. Thanks for your support.
